We collect minimal information, and only what is necessary to provide our service.

When you use the Sonar scanner:

• The text you paste into the scanner is processed in real time to detect fraud signals.
• We do not store, log, or retain the content of any messages you scan.
• No account or login is required to use the scanner.

When you join our waitlist:

• We collect your email address.
• We use this only to send you updates about Sonar.
• You can unsubscribe at any time.

When you contact us:

• We collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Sonar fraud detection service.
• To respond to your inquiries and support requests.
• To send product updates to waitlist subscribers (with your consent).
• To comply with legal obligations under Canadian law.

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Messages scanned through Sonar are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Your scan results exist only on your device during your session.

Waitlist emails and contact form submissions are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized SignalTrust personnel.

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Sonar does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics tools that monitor your behaviour across the web. We may use basic session data to ensure the website functions correctly.

6. Your Rights Under Canadian Law

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

7. Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted on Netlify. Their privacy practices are governed by Netlify's Privacy Policy. We use Google Fonts for typography, which may involve a connection to Google's servers when you load our page.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, social media trackers, or analytics platforms that collect your personal data.

8. Children's Privacy

Sonar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
